Resides In: Prior Lake, Minnesota
Before NET: Graduated from Chesterton Academy in Hopkins, Minnesota, a small private Catholic school that Sally really loved.
First Encounter: I saw her around Camp Wapo for awhile, but I called her out one day asking to go on a walk during some free time. She agreed, and it was an awesome, getting-to-know-you conversation!
Initial Thoughts: She is a very loud and rambunctious woman... and I'm really loving it. Her energy is so much fun! If we were on a team together we would make so much noise.

(Left) Sally in Virginia holding a chicken. There is a lot you can learn about Sally in this photo. For one, the outfit: denim jacket, denim jeans, scarf and a fanny pack, very much her style. Second, her laugh. She has one of the most distinct laughs, and she loves to laugh all the time, making for a great combination on the road. She laughs at almost anything too, from dad jokes to actually good jokes. Overall, she is extremely animated, and it made for some of the best reactions on the road in every situation. Speaking of reactions, new experiences fascinated her! Whenever she tried something new, she always hyped it up, and it made every moment funnier. Always look to Sally for the best expressions, she will always come through. (Right) Now, I could've chosen the photo of Sally and I all dressed up for Easter Sunday where we look really nice, but I like this low-quality selfie from Covington, LA a lot more. We were taking a selfie for another Netter, and you can see the true joy on our faces. We always put up a good front, even on difficult days or in troubling times, we were always cheesing, and I loved that about her.
Favorite Memory: She knows this one all too well. Right before heading to Disneyworld back in March, Sally, Sarah and I were talking, and she kept staring at this long sleeve shirt I was wearing, with a photo of Baby Yoda on my chest. Long story short, after a quick hesitation, I said, "Hey, my eyes are up here!" She walked out of the room so fast after I made that joke. Sarah, who was standing next to me, begins to laugh really hard at my slightly inappropriate joke. Sally eventually returns and smacks Baby Yoda in the face, aka my chest! I was so proud of that joke, and it became a running gag in our relationship, so much that every time I wore that shirt, she would smack Baby Yoda in the face.
Something Sally taught me: Awareness. She always looked out for me like a good sister looking out for her brother, even though she grew up with two older sisters. Whether it was the way I said things, or if I was leaning on a rail when I was speaking, or if I was doing something strange in front of other people, she would always acknowledge it and always tried to help me look/be my best. They were constant reminders that never bothered me because she always had the best intentions in mind for me, and it was a great way to love me.
What the world should know: Sally is extremely talented. She has an incredible theater/choir singing voice, she is extremely smart and loves to learn, and she is a natural when speaking in front of people. She is the star in her movie of life, and God is her director. She is not afraid of the spotlight, if anything she wants it, and her presence and aura is always obvious. She also loves to lead wherever she can, and has great leadership skills to back it up. It's very difficult to dislike her energy and joy, and she loves to be around people. Be her friend, because she wants to be yours.
What’s next?: She will be attending Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio! She has wanted to go to Franciscan, the biggest Catholic University in America, for a while now. She even made the prestigious honors program at Franciscan, with only 100 other students in the program.
To Sally:
I am so proud of you! You grew so much this year in ways neither of us could have imagined, and we grew so much in our relationship as well. Thank you for being such a gift in my life and to this team. I am grateful for your patience, your zeal, and your love to learn, especially learning guitar this year! Know of my constant prayers for you, and I am so excited for our friendship to continue growing. Love ya sista!
