- Role: Drama Leader

- Resides In: Riverside, CA

- Birthday: August 14th

- Before NET: Going to Community College, bouncing from major to major, took a break after many friends did NET.

- First Encounter: The second day of NET, we got put into Co-Ed groups together, where we would drive to and from Camp Wapo, laundry, and do group activities together.

- Initial Thoughts: She's got alot of swagger! Love this Latina, and she's been to Seattle which is sick!

(Left) In one of our favorite skits, Aimee and I portray an old couple named Hubert & Miriam. This iconic duo was a big part of our relationship, and this picture was taken the last time we did this skit at our last retreat. (Right) Taken on our January No-Ob day in Barnesville, MN. We saw the phone booth, found it aesthetic, and took a pic by it. Oh, and those are her glasses I'm wearing.

- Favorite Memory: As much as i don't want to say it, all the clumsy moments she had were iconic. There is one that comes to mind in Baltimore, at the USCCB Conference in November, where she tried to jump onto a moving playset and hit her head on a beam. Then, trying to get off the swinging playset, lost grip and fell off hard! I got both on video, and they're both iconic. It describes her best though. Well, not the hurting herself part, but what she does after. She laughs. She finds humor and fun in all of it. And no question no matter how many times she fell this year, she always got back up, and I love that about her.

- What I Will Miss: I'm gonna miss the little exchanges we shared at least five times a day. It would come in the form of a headbutt, a punch, a noise, a petty comment, or a combination of all those. It was our way of showing love to eachother, and I know this because we always laughed after every one of these exchanges.

- What the World Should Know About Aimee: As much as I talk about her sillyness, she gets down to business when business is needed. She works hard in everything she does, and she won't quit no matter how much she wants to. She also speaks so much truth into the team and to the retreatants, and she can lift up the saddest soul with her inspirations. So, if you ever need a pick-me-up, hit me up, know a gal.

Dear Aimee,

Ahh my fellow hoodlum. You are, and still are, the big sister I never had. From those little encounters I mentioned, to the deep vulnerable conversations shared in the van or convents, you always had my back, and I always had yours. I'm so beyond blessed to have shared this year with you, thank you for being an incredible sister to me. I am excited to see where life takes you! Love you.

P.S. You better visit me when you come up here!
