- Role: Van Man, Recorder

- Resides In: Ham Lake, MN

- Birthday: February 6th

- Before NET: Graduated High School, but in the Class of 2018. This was his second year on NET, was on a retreat team last year that actually came up to Seattle last year! He is the only second year on our team.

- First Encounter: Playing basketball against him during free time at Wapo.

- Initial Thoughts: He's got game, one of those really chill, laid-back ballers. Not alot of talk, just play.

(Left) In the narthex of Holy Hill Basilica, February. Evan loves photography, he has his own camera as you can see, and he is always trying to capture the best photos. As you can see, I am being the apprentice, watching him work his craft. It was alot of fun getting to see him work, and even be a part of his work sometimes. (Right) On his birthday, Evan is orchestrating his Happy Birthday song. He made the team and I laugh in many subtle ways this year, including this moment. Whether it's playing along in a joke, or certain actions and movements, he made us laugh in the best way possible, and I loved it.

- Favorite Memory: In Michigan, late-February, the five guys stayed the night in a massive game room with blow-up air mattresses, along with a whole gym to ourselves. So we pulled out the basketballs and played. Evan and I were the only ones with actual competitive basketball experience, so we played 2-on-3 against the others. We schooled them hard, and our chemistry was ridiculous. It felt like a clicking moment for us and I loved it. Later on, Evan eventually begins attempting this trickshot where he would throw it off a wall into the hoop. After many tries, he got it in, and I got it all on camera. It was glorious.

- What I Will Miss: I'm gonna miss his resilience. There were many days where I saw he was tired, he wasn't feeling well, he wanted to stop, and he admitted it. But he never did. He always said yes to the mission, He always did one more thing for someone, and he never stopped serving God. Especially being on the road for two years, it showed great strength that this team needed, by being a leader through actions. And I really need that resilience right now, no question it rubbed off of me this year.

- What the World Should Know About Evan: He's got all the sauce in the world. If you don't know what that means, that's okay. It just means he's got alot of swagger and confidence, and he carries himself very well. This "sauce" creates an undeniable aura that fills the room with his incredible presence, and when you talk to him, he is nothing short of greatness.

Dear Evan,

What an incredible brother you are. You have showed me so many amazing things this year, and have taught me how to become a greater man. Thank you for your incredible service, for your continuous fiat, and for fighting for our friendship, especially this second half. I am beyond excited to see where God takes you, especially this next year, keeping saucing it up! Love you.
