On my flight home two days later (3/16), I learned that NET has officially suspended all ministry for the rest of the year. I choked up at baggage claim, I felt numb as I hugged my parents two months earlier than I expected to. I didn't know what to think, how to feel. It was hard to take in, and thankfully my family gave me alot of space and time to cope. Praise God I learned how to play guitar on the road, as I played the crap out of my guitar when I got home, mainly with songs we played in team prayer. Along with that, I got to talk to alot of people the first couple weeks after being home, especially Netters! SInce we all experienced the same heartbreak, we really got to lean and cope and talk it out amongst ourselves, and it was super healthy. Got to hear about different team's heartbreak as well. Some teams broke off within 24 hours, while others had a couple more days to do final wrap-up things. Either way, it was super healthy for me to talk to people from NET and home, and it certainly helped with the transition home. Fortunately, NET was able to provide a virtual wrap-up week for us! Wrap-up week is usually in mid-May, when all the teams return to the NET Center from ministry, and celebrate the year with stories and prepare ourselves to better transition our lives from NET life to home life. Of course, we didn't have that, we couldn't, but through Crowdcast, they were able to provide the same sessions and content online live as they would at the NET Center. It was a super huge blessing, and we were also able to have a couple team phone calls during that time, checking in on how our teammates were transitioning home. Our worlds were flipped upside-down, but at the same time the whole world had their lives changed by this pandemic we still battle with as I am writing this. It's hard, but I am glad to be home. Would I love to be on the road right now with the ten people I love to death? Of course! But God called us all home early for a reason, and I am definitely pursuing those reasons as best I can, and for this I am grateful.

Well, now with the year done, what now? What I want to do is talk about my teammates, how they've changed me and the year we had together. Now that I am home, I am able to post photos on the blog, so I will definitely post pics of us together. Over the year, I noticed that teammates had their iconic duos, so I will post their reflections together. The pairs are: Sarah & Roni, Aimee & Monica, Moriah & Ellie, Nels & Adam, Jakob & Evan. I plan to post their bits this week, and end with final blog on this year. But for now, Happy Easter! Thank you for following the journey up to this point.
