Hammocks are so amazing. At this point, we have created “Hammock town” in the middle of camp between the Crossfire and Dining Hall, and there are 8 hammocks currently, and likely more to come!! The population is growing, and its a very exciting time to be swinging by a tree. . . Dude, adoration is different. At least here it is. When we did it Monday, I noticed how charismatic everybody was, and it was special. Now, four days later, and especially after a powerful healing night the night before, missionaries were ecstatic to see Jesus once more. Whenever a song came on, people began screaming out the lyrics, singing out their own personal lyrics, raising their arms out to God, a jumping up and around like it was a concert. At one point people began filling the middle aisle to get closer to the monstrance on stage, and everyone began jumping around singing the divine mercy!! And i was a part of it!! Its hard to even imagine the vibe of an adoration concert, but it was special, it was different, and everyone knew it could only happen here. Easily one of the coolest nights of my life. . . So, I never mentioned whose in my small group: Sam Ellis (PA), Jakob Kachirisky-Reyes (CA), Tomás Solé Martino (ESP), Adam Baker (NE) and Alex Estrella (CA). All of them are amazing in their own ways, and we all clicked within the first couple of days. Anyways, pray for them, I love them to death.
