On our No Obligation Day, Sarah invited us to come with her to her friends’ house for lunch. All of us wanted to go, so it turned into a team bonding day. They lived in Jordan, Minnesota, about 45 minutes southwest of the twin cities. They served us hot dogs, brots, and potato salad along with a few other side dishes. Evan lost a bet in “What Are the Odds” to Jakob, and had to eat the hottest hot sauce they had. We told him he didnt have to do it, even Jakob said it, but he insisted and took a pretty big lick off the toothpick. It was great for our entertainment is all I will say about that. . . About 30 minutes after lunch, the family asked if we wanted to go to Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store, as it was about 2 miles away. None of us denied, and we went. The place was indeed, large. It was a long yellow farm with a giant yellow silo. Not only was there all types of candy, but there were different themes every room you went to! In one room you saw Elsa and Rapunzel hanging out with a mini castle, the next room was all things Marvel and DC, and the silo was filled with Science Fiction items such as he Millenium Falcon and the Telephone Booth from Doctor Who. It was such a fun time exploring with my team, and ultimately I bought Cookies n’ Cream Pocky, Blue Raspberry licorice, and Leninade (USSR lemonade that I ironically didnt share).
