I mentioned one day on the blog I would be giving a talk, and I finally received my talk assignment. It is called “True Grit”, and it is a Men’s only talk given on weekend retreats when the guys and girls are split. It talks about masculinity, and what it means to be a true man of God, which means “To lay one’s life for others” according to John 15:13. Within my hour of prep, I realized I could go many directions with this talk, and it will be fun where I go with it. . . Receiving routes was such a nice feeling, more relieving than ever. I’m gonna be 3,000 miles away from home!! Spreading the word on the east coast sounds so amazing currently, because its something radically different than anything I’ve ever experienced before. Its gonna be so much fun exploring these areas, especially Boston. I dont know why, but having Thanksgiving in Boston and Halloween in D.C. sounds so cool to me. Granted this could subject to change and we may hit other areas, but this is pretty set in stone, and itll be so fun to take you along this journey (sorta).
