I can officially explain the Gospel in less than 30 seconds using the kerygma, and I can even use it in emojis:
❤️- God loves us
➗- Sin divides our love with God, created crater between us
✝️- Jesus died for our sins, creating a bridge between God and Man
❓- What are you going to do about God’s love? Will you cross the bridge?
It was simply astounding learning how to describe it to anyone in simple terms, and now I have a bracelet to remind me of the Gospel, which could be good for conversations too! . . . The welfare conduct was, according to NET, one of the most boring but most necessary sessions of training. Fortunately, we finished at 9:00, giving us one hour to chill out before bed. It felt extremely weird, since we usually only have 30 minutes or less. When wondering around, I decided to stick with Anna and Liz, who are in my Co-Ed, along with Bre Younger (KY), and see where they were going. Eventually we took a backtrail that leads to the campfire, but stopped at a spot that opens up to a lake and all the stars in the world. We sat and talked there for about 30-40 minutes, mainly talking about weird topics that Im not sure I can nor want to say… nonetheless it was beautiful spending my last days of Wapo with Wapo. When we headed back to our rooms, we all looked up and saw even more stars, making the night even more gorgeous. I began singing “Falling Like the Stars” by James Arthur, as I fell in love with the world. With Team Announcements tomorrow, and leaving camp in two days, I had to cherish each last moment here at Wapo, where my life has been changed. Lets hope I soak in everything.
Hoe looks your bracelet? I love the kerygma. Thank you for share.
