Variety Show!! SO MUCH AMAZING TALENT!!
So turns out the women missionaries found bed bugs. Apparently it wasnt serious, but NET staff wanted to take extra precaution. So all the ladies had to remove everything from their luggage, and head back to the laundromats to wash all their clothes while staff members steamed the suitcases. This left all the men by themselves, and there was not much to do. I went to the hammocks, but everything just felt empty. Its crazy what camp feels like when half of the group is gone. . . The variety show was INSANE!! There were so many good acts. We started with a sick duo dance that was choreographed extremely well, followed up by a beautiful sad song by Ellie Lehto (GA), whose voice sounds like Rapunzel from Tangled. Another guy did spectacular impressions, headlined by Cpt. Jack Sparrow, and some of the staff member’s children did a spinoff of “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran about Wapo, which was, well, perfect! A Minnesotan taught us how to speak like a Minnesotan, and another did hilarious poems. I was involved in a skit with five other people, which was alot of fun, and of course, two people who did deep spoken word. The night was a roller coaster of emotions, but man it was so much fun!
